Description:
Note: This is a hybrid role, with remote and in-office work. The office is located at 243 Consumers Road, North York, Ontario.
Position Status: Temporary Full-Time (12 month Contract)
The Content Marketing Specialist plays a key role within the marketing team. This role is responsible for planning and development of best-in-class marketing and editorial content that resonates with patients and clients while elevating the Lifemark Health Group brand.
Your collaborative nature has you working closely with Subject Matter Experts, clinicians, business segment leads, and marketing colleagues on editorial calendar planning. You will develop engaging patient and client content ranging from helpful tips and service offerings to education on conditions and acute issues, all in support of business and brand objectives.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a content creation, marketing or freelance writer role
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism or related field
- Proven experience as a creative copywriter
- Above average writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Ability to leverage SEO principles to maximize reach
- Strong research skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Works well in a team
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Editorial calendar content planning
- Become a trusted content creator and grow content breadth by working closely with SMEs, clinicians and business segment leaders in the development of blogs and other pieces
- Plan, create and/or edit clear, compelling and concise resource material (articles, video storyboards, landing pages, etc.) for LifemarkHealthGroup.ca and Lifemark.ca
- Develop digital copy that reflects SEO principles and current practices
- Plan and develop content for marketing campaign emails, newsletters and nurturing campaigns
- Support promotion of webinars and events through emails, video content and summary blogs
- Support clinic and business segment marketing content requests, including patient-facing emails, service brochures, posters, and product flyers, in a timely manner
- Support promotion of in-person and virtual conference materials, including slide decks, digital invites, tracking registration, and promotion products
- Develop communications for client services
- Understand marketing and campaign results and apply learnings to aid future content development
- Ensure a strong voice and brand consistency is maintained across integrated channels
