Description:
Position Overview
The scope of this role is to support the manual research and development team in the successful delivery of manual content and calculators. The core responsibilities include reviewing manual topic description texts, undertaking content authoring checks & communications of the respective content updates. The role requires a fundamental understanding of underwriting risk assessment principals and research.
Responsibilities
- Undertake quality checks to support the manual research and development team.
- Provide content edits for description text, research documents and liaise with manual research associates and provide timely support & feedback.
- Review and edit articles, presentations, or publications, both internal or external
- Facilitate regional translations for the manual & authoring checks including syncing manual content to the ‘Live’ manual site.
- Coordinate with Global, Regional, and local office stakeholders both within underwriting and across functions.
- Co-author and peer review and promote articles written by the team members.
- Facilitate communications from manuals team regarding content publication, releases and contribute to marketing plans and collateral.
- Produce monthly/quarterly GUM usage reports and data analytics.
- Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) of GUM platform functionality including its calculators.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent related work experience.
- Insurance industry knowledge and certifications.
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance principles, concepts, underwriting policies, and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge of medicine as applied to the evaluation of insurance risks.
- Excellent understanding of English language, grammar, and comprehension, as well as content editing experience is essential.
- Intermediate research skills.
