THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Content & Social Media Officer to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our Marketing department and providing key support to the success of our organisation.

• Monitor social media engagement across all channels, with an additional focus on planning, scheduling, and creating engaging content for social media, website, news, and internal communications, with a real focus on in-field content creation through videography and photography.
• This role has a heavy focus on being in the field to capture content including; video, photography and well written, engaging editorial for distribution both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with business areas to develop and deploy social media campaigns highlighting business capabilities as well as optimize internal news content for social media channels.
• Develop and manage the Centurion Media Library, including maintaining a library of response messages.
• Implement effective SEO content, paid social media campaigns, and targeted initiatives to support brand positioning and internal functions such as recruitment.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activity performance as well as on social media performance to assess campaign success, reach, and identify opportunities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications, or other relevant discipline.
• Videography, photography, editorial, and production qualifications would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills
• Sound knowledge of digital and social media
• Experience with InDesign, other Adobe creative products is an advantage
