REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience in content writing or related writing roles.
  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of the organization’s tone, audience, and brand guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Winona is a fast-growing startup, and we’re looking for a passionate remote full-time Content Writer to join our team and contribute to our well-respected medical journal. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and writing high-quality articles for our online publication, aimed at providing accurate, clear, and accessible information about menopause and related topics for our patients. There may also be the potential to create other long-form content, such as lead magnets and educational resources.
Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough research on assigned medical topics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to scientific principles.
  • Write clear, concise, and informative articles for our medical journal, following our editorial style.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone throughout all written content.
  • Collaborate with editors and medical experts to ensure content accuracy and clarity.
  • Proofread and edit assigned content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant trends and research findings on the topic of menopause and women’s health.
