OPPORTUNITY FOR AN AMBITIOUS CONTENTIOUS CONSTRUCTION SENIOR ASSOCIATE 6+ YEARS PQE LOOKING FOR A PLATFORM TO WORK ON SOME OF THE MOST HIGH-VALUE CONSTRUCTION DISPUTES AVAILABLE, BASED IN BRISTOL.

You will advise on a mix of disputes in the pre-action stage and in adjudication, arbitration, mediation and in court. Claims will relate to traditional final account/loss and expense type claims, to significant defect issues and PFI/projects disputes.
A large proportion of work will involve complex instructions involving local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations as well as those in the wider construction industry including developers, funders and contractors.
Aside from fee-earning and leading on transactions, they’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can deepen existing relationships and diversify new ones. You’ll also show leadership qualities and have a say in the strategic direction of the practice whilst supporting juniors with their development.
