Description:

The post holder will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team within the Women and Childrens Health Division leading the clinical governance agenda within the Division. They are responsible for the co-ordination of clinical governance procedures and frameworks with the Division. The post holder will manage the clinical governance team in the further development of robust systems and processes throughout the Division in relation to clinical governance and quality, which underpins safe clinical practice. The role encompasses risk management, clinical audit, and clinical effectiveness programmes.
The post holder will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise within the wider multi-professional team for the Division for clinical governance and risk management. This will include putting in place strategies and framework that ensure the Perinatal services and wider Division meets the Trust and National Reporting Priorities. The post holder will have direct line management responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement and Learning Team (CILT).
