SUMMARY
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, under the supervision of the Vice President of Talent and Culture, this global role will be responsible for reviewing internal processes, developing a culture of continuous improvement, coaching managers and internal stakeholders, and collaborating with key stakeholders to establish and transform business processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field;
- Six Sigma Black Belt certified, with substantial experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies to tangible process improvements;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on implementing a culture of continuous improvement;
- Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards exceptional performance;
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to lead complex projects from start to finish;
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and statistical software;
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners nationally and globally. English proficiency is therefore a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge and coordinate process review sessions with cross-functional teams, identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions to optimize workflows;
- Develop and implement strategies to integrate a culture of continuous improvement across LCI functions and campuses, ensuring that best practices are shared and adopted;
- Use Six Sigma methodologies to conduct detailed analyzes of current processes, identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity, maximize efficiency, document and implement sustainable solutions;
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Green Belt champions in the development and realization of their process review projects. This includes providing technical advice, problem-solving support, and assistance in project management;
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives and adjust strategies based on results and stakeholder feedback;
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by developing tailored training programs to raise awareness and engage colleagues at all levels of the organization;
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate continuous improvement principles into daily practices and strategic decisions, using well-defined KPIs to guide improvements;
