Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop a continuous improvement program, and the frameworks, systems and process improvements to support the embedding of a culture of continuous improvement within the branch, and to drive the delivery of effective Student Services operations and business improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to / support business cases to enable service delivery solution design, business process mapping and improvements.
- Identify improvement opportunities, review processes and procedures, and implement changes to business processes to assist in the achievement of business objectives.
- Design and maintain Student Services continuous improvement process governance frameworks ensuring new processes/improvements or amendments to an existing process is managed through the appropriate channel.
- Represent the Student Services branch in systems, business process design and mapping to provide solutions for improvements that drive operational effectiveness and increase productivity and efficiency.
- Capture and document continuous improvement learnings to facilitate organisational knowledge sharing and training.
- Assess and evaluate continuous improvement strategies and initiatives, identify issues and risks and manage Service Delivery Continuity planning for the branch.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to operationalise and embed new or amended continuous improvement initiatives and processes.
- As a member of the broader Student Services leadership team, build and nurture an engaging and inclusive Student Services community within the campus/cluster you are based. This includes providing information, guidance and support across teams, where appropriate, and supporting onboarding within the Branch.
- Reflect organisation’s values in the way you work and abide by policies and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.
- Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
- Work with the Line Manager to develop meaningful performance development and review plans.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in building and implementing continuous improvement frameworks, systems and process improvements.
- Experience in capturing and documenting continuous improvement learnings, assessing and evaluating continuous improvement strategies and initiatives, identifying issues and risks.
- Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements.
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
