Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for advising and supporting the company’s managers in all matters relating to contract management. More specifically, he/she will:

  • Review plans and specifications to develop tender documents;
  • Participate in the pre-selection of bidders;
  • Prepare and follow up invitations to tender;
  • Prepare commercial evaluation of bids;
  • Participate in the selection process of the winning bidder and finalize the recommendation;
  • Verification of subcontractors’ legal and regulatory authorizations before awarding;
  • Negotiate, prepare and issue contracts;
  • Coordinate contract follow-up meetings;
  • Monitor contracts and compliance with clauses, laws and regulations;
  • Interpret contract clauses and participate in the review of the merits and financial aspects of contract changes, additional work, claims, etc., as well as the preparation of supporting documentation and recommendations;
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier performance in terms of compliance with contractual clauses;
  • Ensure the invoicing process is in line with progress;
  • Coordinate the resolution of contractual performance problems and the choice of remedial solutions, and issue directives or recommendations to this effect;
  • Verify and approve contract schedules and documentation;
  • Request and coordinate provisional and final acceptance;
  • Enforce warranty clauses;
  • Close the contract.
