TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU POSSESS:

  • Prior work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or other similar role;
  • Some knowledge of legal requirements of contracts;
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot discrepancies and errors;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to communicate with varying seniority levels, including managers and department heads and executives; and
  • Other relevant qualifications and experience.
    This is a part time position (and available for remote workstyle after a qualifying training period within the Legal Department) with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

HOW DOES THE ROLE IMPACT THE ORGANIZATION?

Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Contract Administrator for the firm’s Legal Department.
We are seeking a part-time responsible Contract Administrator to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will involve intaking requests for contract review by the various departments within the firm, assist in streamlining process to obtain various approvals (including procurement), logging status of the contract review by the lawyers, preparing contract version control, submitting the final version for authorized signatures and maintaining the Legal Department electronic files of executed contracts for record keeping.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and is familiar with the process of contract administration. Previous experience in contract management and process control are desirable.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Setting up contract review protocol from intake of a request to review a contract to final execution and record keeping;
  • Lead the relationship with various department managers and explain the process for contract review for the legal department and ensure that review procedures are complied with;
  • Coordinate with the legal department for each contract review as needed;
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions for the contract review process are met (i.e. compliance with process of contract procurement approval and assessment of privacy risk); and
  • Maintain the legal department’s digital records of signed contracts.
