The Opportunity:

In this role you will:

  • Work as part of a leading construction team on one of the largest semiconductor projects in Ireland.
  • Support the full construction procurement programmes from inception to completion as required
  • Partner with the wider team to develop and agree on a procurement strategy for all construction packages and ensure alignment with the programme schedule
  • Develop impactful commercial presentations and communications for contractors throughout the pre-and-post contract phases
  • Review and evaluate proposals and make recommendations to the wider team
  • Support the negotiation of pricing for work packages, analysing information and implementing strategies to ensure value for money
  • Be a content expert on owner’s bespoke form of contract and method of measurement
  • Manage and ensure contract alignment for contractors and project team performance
  • Ensure effective coordination of incoming and outgoing contract notices
  • Oversee the timely execution of contract releases, payment applications and change order management
  • Assist in the negotiation and settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
  • Review cost saving proposals and identify affected components of the compensation strategy and implications on contract

  • Have experience in unit rate construction pricing and management contracting methodologies
