Description:

BMS Commissioning Engineers - Subcontract basis - Outside of IR35
Location: Central London
We are seeking experienced and talented BeMS Controls Engineer for an ongoing contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for working on a variety of BMS service projects, including remedial works, small upgrades, refits, and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS) on small-works projects and service extra-works projects in the heart of London. Extensive experience with Trend, Distech or Tridium systems is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of BMS controls systems on small-works projects and service extra works projects
  • Collaborating closely with design engineers and project managers
  • Conducting tests and inspections to ensure proper functionality of systems
  • Offering technical support to the project team
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during commissioning
  • Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, including experience with Trend Distech or Tridium systems
  • Strong technical background in BMS systems and controls
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
