Description:
BMS Commissioning Engineers - Subcontract basis - Outside of IR35
Location: Central London
We are seeking experienced and talented BeMS Controls Engineer for an ongoing contract basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for working on a variety of BMS service projects, including remedial works, small upgrades, refits, and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS) on small-works projects and service extra-works projects in the heart of London. Extensive experience with Trend, Distech or Tridium systems is required.
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of BMS controls systems on small-works projects and service extra works projects
- Collaborating closely with design engineers and project managers
- Conducting tests and inspections to ensure proper functionality of systems
- Offering technical support to the project team
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during commissioning
- Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, including experience with Trend Distech or Tridium systems
- Strong technical background in BMS systems and controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
