A leading IoT company based in Sydney is looking for a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to join their team. This 6-month contract position offers a chance to work on cutting-edge devices meant to address environmental challenges. With a possibility of contract extension depending on the company’s roadmap, this role could be your gateway to a long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for low-power IoT devices.
- Implement and optimize FreeRTOS-based systems on Cortex armv7 architecture.
- Handle low-level hardware interactions including interrupt handling and power management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues to ensure optimal device performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in firmware development with a focus on C++ 11/14.
- Deep understanding of FreeRTOS and its application in real-time systems.
- Hands-on experience with Cortex armv7 architecture, particularly in low power operations and interrupt handling.
