Role Summary:
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES:
The ideal candidate should process:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of rotary wing operations.
- A Knowledge and understanding of helicopter SAR/AME operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to effectively communicate and negotiate with colleagues and partners
- Proven experience in building long-term, strategic working relationships with business partners.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and network effectively across multiple customers to drive effective customer outcomes.
- A demonstrated personal drive with the ability to think strategically and deliver practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas to both a technical and non-technical audience
- A desire to provide creative solutions to operational aviation problems
- The ability to work cross-functionally to drive projects and deliver commercial outcomes
- The ability to lead and direct multiple clients and projects simultaneously and manage multiple priorities
- Analytical and organizing skills with strong attention to detail
- Superior customer relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands, in a high volume, rapidly changing environment.
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office, intranet platforms and other communications tools.
Responsibilities:
- A visible leader of all global and regional initiatives in relation to Safety, business KPI’s, people, finance, and a relentless advocate of integrity at all levels
- A visible safety champion who will challenge unsafe acts and pursue improvements in safety culture and behaviour
- Develop highly effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders whether they are internal (at a global, regional and in country level and particularly with the regional management team and employees) and externally (regulators, customers, and suppliers)
- Ensure contracts are implemented following the contract kick-off meetings
- Ensure day to day operations are being met and optimized for the client including aircraft sharing opportunities
- Act as “problem solver” with the base manager for any operational issues and communicate with the client(s) regularly.
- Attend Customer meetings (Biannual and monthly, Performance Meetings), as the Representative dealing with resultant issues
- Attend Customer meetings with Business Unit Leader where potential proposals will be discussed
- Establish a strong relationship with our contract clients.
- Ensure 100% retention of existing contracts (customer positioning) and search for future growth opportunities within the current client base.
- Liaise with Account Department to ensure contracts are invoiced accordingly and milestones (escalations, terminations, extensions) are addressed in a timely manner
- Disseminate relevant contract information to the various departments (including but not limited to contract awards, contract amendments, contract escalations etc.)
- Respond to Corporate requests for updates on contracts/amendments
- Act as the liaison with all key stake holders on a regular basis
- Responsible for the reporting and communication of general information including Key Performance Indicators and contracted SAR support availability.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of internal/external stakeholders regarding tenders, contracts, and current negotiations.
- Build team capabilities by developing self and others to deliver time and time again
- Regional travel may be required.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
