As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will work as an integrated member of the team. You will work on Pre-Contract: Estimating and Preparation of Tender Documentation and Post-Contract: Contract and Commercial Administration.

Your Key Responsibilities will be as followed:

  • Prepare and collate the tender documents for the outstanding works. Including Bill of Quantities, take off from Design supplied by Contractor’s subcontractor Designer, collation of scope of works and coordination with the Client procurement department, including any required addendums.
  • Support the Client’s lead procurement process by supporting the responses to tender queries and tender evaluation process where required.
  • Undertake the Contract & Commercial Administration of all payments in accordance with Works Orders awarded to the new close-out contractors or existing sub-contractors for the remaining works listed. Including the assessment and recommendation of interim payment certificates.
  • Continuation of the assessment of payments and issuing of recommendation for Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) of the Construction Contracts to enable the direct payment to the sub-contractor in accordance with the set of under the General Conditions of Contract.
  • Assess Contractors Notice of Claims of the New Contracts/Subcontracts awarded for entitlement only and variation. Any New Contractor/Subcontractor Claims that have been advised are not a Change will be forwarded to the Client to process and manage.
  • Assist the Change Management process as required and provide all technical, contractual and site team support services and input required in processing any changes.
  • Review Project Change Requests (PCR) and Change Order Recommendation Reports (COR) with regard to validation of Quantum.
  • Assess and prepare Variation Orders / Change Order / Employers Instructions / Contract Amendments.
  • Undertaking ad hoc costing exercises requested by the Client associated with potential Changes, Value Engineering exercises, Feasibility Studies and Options Studies.
  • Drafting Contractual letters to the Contractors and Sub-Contractors.

You will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management.
Experience on large Infrastructure Projects with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
