Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for a Contract Officer (Grounds Maintenance) to join our Estates team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO RAVEN:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance and estates services, and health and safety management.
  • Experience of working with a variety of different external contractors and customers.
  • Strong IT literacy and recording keeping skills and monitoring.
  • A pro-active, assertive approach to resolving issues and ability to work independently.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE:

The overall purpose of this role is to support contract management within Raven with a dedicated focus on estate services including grounds maintenance. This role further includes liaising with residents for effective and efficient monitoring of performance and feedback on Raven grounds services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting Raven Housing Trust sites to monitor effective delivery and performance of grounds maintenance, including liaising with the Estates Manager to agree continued works.
  • To build positive, effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and improve specific business needs.
  • To manage and resolve day-to-day issues that arise in grounds maintenance management, and ensure lessons learnt are reviewed and changes implemented to improve value for money service.
  • To lead on administration of contractual requirements, including issuing works and variation orders agreed within contracts.
  • To ensure contractors comply with Health and Safety legislation and requirements.
