Description:

Evolution Safety Resources, a leading Safety Consulting Firm based in Raleigh, NC, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Safety Representatives. Our firm boasts a nationwide client base, and we are committed to ensuring their compliance with federal, state, and best practice safety guidelines. As a Safety Representative, you will play a crucial role in facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines at our clients’ sites. Your focus will be on prevention, requiring a conscientious and farsighted approach. The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • OSHA 510 credentials (required)
  • Field Safety Experience - 5 yrs (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations
  • Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions
  • Properly use all required personal protection equipment
  • Comply with jobsite guidelines to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
  • Maintain daily reports required by the customer, including daily inspections, Job Safety Analysis, and incident reports
  • Include detailed documentation of onsite findings (including: Notes, Photos, and Corrective Actions taken)
  • Inspect sites daily for existing and/or potential incident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented
  • Investigate all reported injuries and illnesses
  • Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs
  • Maintain safety files and records
