Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We now have a 6-month opportunity for Procurement Contract Specialist to join us.

As a Procurement Contract Specialist, you’ll join our Procurement team which provides first-class procurement support that enables Tabcorp to achieve its goals and objectives. You’ll play a vital support role within the team optimising contract outcomes and enhancing procurement efficiency. Your key focus will be to partner with Category Managers, Legal and other stakeholders to help manage the procurement contract lifecycle, risk assessments, due diligence checks, and contract fulfillment. Specifically, you will:

  • support the Oracle Fusion Contract Management system and help users navigate the system;
  • coordinate the flow of contracts through all stages of the contact lifecycle and ensure contracts are accurately documented, organised, and accessible to stakeholders;
  • engage with Category Managers, Legal and stakeholders to ensure the timely review, approval, execution and fulfillment of contracts;
  • identify continuous improvement opportunities for contract management processes;
  • create and maintain buying channels to facilitate efficient procurement processes; and
  • manage and maintain catalogues of products and services offered by approved vendors.

This role is intended for a highly diligent and proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of Oracle Fusion contract management and ensure compliance and efficiency across all procurement activities. You’ll therefore possess:

  • experience in procurement contract administration (ideally within a large, complex and highly regulated industry);
  • a contemporary understanding of contract management principles, best practices, and legal requirements;
  • relevant computer skills including MS Office, ERP systems and e-procurement systems (ideally Oracle); and
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
