PERSOLKELLY is one of Australia’s largest and longest serving recruitment providers. Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Engineering, Technical and Office Support talent.
We are partnered with one of WA’s best-known employers, for the recruitment of a Contractor Compliance Specialist, focusing on Civil and Structural Compliance.
Some of the key points that you’ll want to know:
- This company’s office is based in Perth’s CBD, but you’ll spend much of the day “out on the road” visiting sites across Perth (and occasionally the South-West) and ensuring work has been completed to contract standard. Approx 80% of the role is “on the road”, typically from Monday to Thursday.
- As such, they’ll provide you with a company car, laptop and phone.
- You’ll typically work 37.5 hours per week, and they encourage a good work/life balance and flexibility.
- This role will start off as an initial 18-month contract, but they really want someone who wants to stay and build their career long-term.
- As such, they’ll invest in you. Extensive support and a clear career path within their business.
The role itself is very much Compliance focused. You’ll use your Civil and Structural engineering knowledge to ensure works have been completed to Australian contract standards (specifically AS4000, AS4902 and AS4906 contracts).
In terms of your background, you’ll ideally have:
- Must possess a relevant engineering (ideally Civil), contract management or HSE qualification
- Experience in Civil construction or similar
- Some experience in contract management and execution
- Experience in safety management, occupational health, workplace assessing, incident and hazard investigation
- Proven experience in managing customer and contractor relationships
- Interaction with others is primarily concerned with influencing, developing and motivating people and changing behaviour
- Competence in relevant IT systems is necessary
Not in Perth right now? That’s ok. We are open to hearing from candidates across Australia and from further afield.
