ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, based in Archerfield, QLD are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for ongoing day shift Monday to Friday, 38 hours with optional overtime.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position primarily exists to provide efficient and affective procurement and contract administration support for the Strategic Facilities branch.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
- Qualifications in Business / Office Administration desirable
- Current Open Driver’s Licence
- 3-5 years’ experience in client-side contract administration and procurement
- Commerical knowledge of contract formation and tendering within facilities management and construction within Australia
- Attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proven stakeholder and customer engagement with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence
Role Specific Deliverables
- Co-ordinate and lead end to end procurement and contract establishment activities across HDAL’s construction program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Working with commercial and legal stakeholder, provide advice to on construction contract selection, requirements and risk allocation.
- Assist stakeholders with contract enquires, negotiations, resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain procurement and contract records and documentation to SDIA standards
- Provide advice on financial and procurement thresholds, assisting with internal approvals from drafting documents thru to execution via Adobe sign
- Assist in drafting communications and notices in relation to contract issues and variations
- Assist in maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing collaboration and process improvemen
