JOB DESCRIPTION

A contract administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts, ensuring that all contract terms and conditions are met.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong administrative and relationship building skills who will play an important role in delivering the mission and vision of Sacré-Davey Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven Experience as a contract administrator, legal assistant, or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with contract management tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize accordingly to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting, or economics or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the procedural aspects of a contract during the delivery of a project.
  • Ensuring the flow of required information.
  • Submitting notices, valuations and payment evaluations.
  • Handling claims for extra payment, and extended timescales.
  • Reviewing plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased.
  • Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards.
  • Manage paperwork related to contracts.
  • Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Work with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and others to make sure project goals are met.
