THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join our Sustainment Operations Supplier Management and Procurement team. This role is pivotal in executing and growing existing programs through providing contracting expertise, guidance and leadership.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Sustainment Operations, responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and lead the capability growth strategy in the area of contract and supplier management to align with the BDA business plans and technology roadmaps
  • Lead, engage and develop employees
  • Strategic workforce planning including the provision of resources to meet multiple project demands
  • Lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement and productivity by questioning established practice
  • Support executing projects within the Sustainment Operations business unit through provision of people, processes and tools relevant to contracting to ensure they are successful in meeting our customer expectations
  • Enable collaboration across programs to identify and leverage commonalities, innovation and efficiencies across multiple programs.
