Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Act as the point of escalation and mediation between the respective site Bupa Senior Property Manager, Engineering Manager and Care Services Property Compliance Manager and the hard and soft FM specialist supplier’s management teams in order to ensure a consistent approach to gain successful and timely outcomes.
Work alongside Procurement to manage a suite of regular service reviews meetings across the hard and soft FM specialist suppliers ensuring that the supplier reports and minutes are issued within the agreed timelines.
In relation to the hard and soft FM specialist services, provide leadership, direction focus and strategic management input to the Bupa Care Services Property Management team.
Provide appropriate up-to-date technical and commercial guidance that will enable the Bupa Property teams to effectively manage suppliers.
Take the lead for the mobilisation and de-mobilisation of Bupa’s Hard and soft FM specialist supplier contracts.
KEY SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE
- 5+ years experience as a Contract Manager preferably within a healthcare setting.
- 5+ years experience managing outsourced contracts effectively and efficiently…
- Experience of conducting regular specialist compliance audits of procedures and performance.
- Experience as a technical adviser for suppler related issues across a large portfolio.
- Knowledge of contract law , understating of contract terms and conditions and an ability to manage risk.
- Possess a health & safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience of supporting the development and implementation of hard and soft FM specialist services strategy that is consistent and appropriate to overall business strategy and that reflects the needs of stakeholders
- Knowledge of the current trends and thinking within the hard and soft FM specialist services market and demonstration of an ability to apply such trends in an operational setting
