Your opportunity
As the Contracts Officer you will be responsible for monitoring and auditing the performance of waste and resource recovery contractors against the relevant technical and commercial contract conditions, including key performance indicators. You will provide assistance and technical advice to operations and administration staff in relation to contractual obligations, performance and administration issues. Your knowledge of waste management from a local government perspective, and your Tertiary or post-secondary qualifications in a relevant field such as Contract Management / Environmental Science / Engineering / Business Management or equivalent experience will be highly considered.

Has knowledge and operational experience in managing, monitoring and auditing contracts and contractor performance and has the ability to apply this experience to a range of waste and resource recovery contracts.
Has well-developed written communication skills demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy, including experience in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
