OUR DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICE IS RECRUITING A CONTRACTS SPECIALIST WITH AN APTITUDE AN INTEREST IN CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO SHARING CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION WITH EXTERNAL PARTIES.

The Department of Licensing is one of the most public facing state agencies and the second largest revenue generating agency in Washington State. DUTIES

As the Contracts Specialist, you will lead the processing of agency-wide data sharing agreements, ensuring all contracts contain the necessary requirements. Your attention to detail and analytical abilities will be vital to your success as you draft data sharing requirements and establish and maintain an inventory of all data sharing agreements. In collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will be relied upon to resolve issues, assess risk, review data applicants, and draft and negotiate contracts. Your work in this role will be essential in protecting the data of our customers

SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Produce, review, negotiate, and approve new contracts and data sharing requirements suitable for each unique data sharing relationship.
• Modify contracts when conflicts arise.
• Consults with other divisions on necessary data sharing requirements to include in their agreements or amendments involving data sharing.
• Determine potential impact to customers when notified by Information Security of known system outages, upcoming maintenance, changes to systems, etc.
• Facilitate technical support for users in response to inquiries about system functionality and assist with troubleshooting related to data files.
