Ancala Water Services own and manage water and wastewater assets and optimise operations to create value for customers and shareholders.
We deliver water and wastewater services to over 1,100 sites throughout England and Wales including the £1billion 25-year Aquatrine A contract delivering water, wastewater, fire system maintenance and specialist estate management services to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). We manage boreholes, reservoirs, surface water pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, treatment works, distribution mains, oil and water interceptors, sewers and meters. Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role: Control Centre Coordinator
Location: Barnsley, S75 1JN
Starting Salary: £21,546 to £26,594 (depending on experience and pro-rata if part-time)
Role Type: Permanent, Part-Time or Full-Time with hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday - please specify your preference in your application.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that planned and reactive works across over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites are undertaken at the right time to minimise disruption to our valued customers. And with a network that covers a third of the UK, we’ve got a big job on our hands! That’s why we’re looking for process-driven, resilient and customer-focused individuals to join our team. You will be accountable for the planning and scheduling of works for our field teams, contractors, and key stakeholders undertaking all related activities required to ensure works are completed in line with customer and business expectations. You’ll be coordinating a variety of repair and maintenance jobs and liaising with both customers and operational staff to see each job through to completion. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that jobs are recorded accurately, progressed on time and delivered to the highest standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Optimising, preparing, and scheduling the preventive, planned and remedial maintenance
  • You will schedule work orders in accordance with SLAs, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service, in line with customer Service Level Agreements and expectations
  • Capturing detailed information from customer contact and entering this into our system
  • Making sure all jobs are logged, allocated to field staff, progressed and resolved
  • Managing job feedback in our IT system

Due to the nature of sites we work on, the successful candidate must meet the security clearance requirements for the role which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • You must have been a full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 years
  • Be prepared to undertake a security chec
