Description:
For our Systems Engineering department within Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH, we are currently looking for a Control Engineer Bioprocessing (x|f|m) in full-time at the Goettingen site with the possibility to work partially remote. The owner of this role will coordinate the interface between product development and automation development for biopharmaceutical plants. In doing so, the Control Engineer Bioprocessing (x|f|m) will help to significantly shorten our customers’ development times and make drugs available more quickly, thereby shaping the future with us.

- Create software solutions for bioprocess systems based on specifications and test them in close collaboration with process engineers
- Enable rapid concept development by providing rapid prototyping solutions
- Act as an interface between product & software platform development
- Maintain a continuous exchange between product development, automation platform and internal stakeholders (marketing, service, etc.)
- Develop workflows, templates and structures to standardize automation concepts
- Standardize automation in the area of separation systems as Control Engineer Bioprocessing (x|f|m)
- Plan and optimize development tasks and prioritize functionalities of the automation platform
- In responsibility for software tests on the systems: Consult, implement and coordinate
What will convince us
- A successfully completed Master’s degree in Engineering or comparable (e.g. Process Engineering, Automation Engineering or Information Technology)
- Several years of experience in automation technology or control engineering (preferably PLC-based)
- A good understanding of automation concepts and their development as well as the integration of automation components
- Digital Twin and modeling of dynamic systems are familiar, the use of programming languages such as Python, C++ or Matlab, Simulink and Git an advantage
- Excellent communication & networking skills, a structured way of working and very good organizational skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written), German is an advantage
