Our Opportunity
This opportunity is based at our Meadow fresh Site in Christchurch, where our teams are responsible for turning milk into dairy beverages.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Control Room Operator. You will be required to work across a range of areas including operating equipment and completing quality assurance checks.
You will also assist in delivering and completing accurate documentation as well as delivering quality product to the required Food Safety and Hygiene standards. We want to hear from people who have the right attitude and a passion to make our great products!
This permanent position will involve working a 4 on 4 off roster Covering a range of shifts - 5am to 5pm, or afternoon/evening roster from 12:30pm to 12:30am, or 5pm to 5am. To suit rosters.
Pay Rate: $29.58 p/h

Responsibilities:

  • Raw milk reception
  • Processing (separating, homogenising and pasteurising) milk via computer-controlled systems
  • Mixing of flavored products as required, which involves lifting 25kg bags
  • Operating equipment to set standards.
  • Ability to document key production information with great attention to detail
  • Confirming end of day checks and housekeeping sign offs.
  • A strong focus on Health & Safety
  • A passion for Food Safety
