Job Introduction
Control Room Officers at Sodexo are also protectors and peace-of-mind providers. You will ensure the safety of our staff, their buildings, and their assets. Working at the Sodexo Data Centre in Salford, no two days are the same, and your actions will make a big impact every day. Control Room Officers will need to schedule and rota 2000 security officers into our work force management system Timegate. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

  • Assist in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems
  • Act as a first-line response to activations & incidents, or fault reporting.
  • Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff.
  • Planning and implementation of forward scheduling and reaction to short-notice cover requirements for security officers
  • Ensure the scheduling of security rotas for Sodexo sites is implemented.
  • Monitor and supervise the delivery of customer support requests, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met.

What you bring:

  • Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities
  • Excellent computer skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and awareness skills
  • Experience working in a similar role is a must.
  • Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
