YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • DCS / Controls engineering experience
  • PLCs engineering experience
  • Control Systems engineering design and commissioning experience
  • Understanding and experience of working with layers of protection
  • Experience with safety instrumented systems
  • Control system maintenance experience
  • Delta V experience highly regarded
  • Technical documentation preparation
  • Industrial networking
  • Chemical industry experience beneficial
    The ideal person will come from a similar background having worked as a controls & automation engineer with particular focus on DCS engineering.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced DCS/Automation Controls Engineer to join our Botany manufacturing site, based in Sydney
As the Control Systems Engineer, you will design, develop, commission and support automation and manufacturing execution systems our facilities, whilst also delivering projects and initiatives to meet the needs of both the business and internal customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage maintenance and reliability of Control Systems on site.
  • Develop life cycle maintenance programs for the controls systems
  • Design, engineering, installation, and commissioning of Control Systems related major and minor projects
  • Propose and implement process improvements through changes in control/ automation systems
  • Implement changes in accordance with our management of change process
  • Carry out testing of the safety instrumented system on site and manage the record keeping
  • Assist with fault finding with the process/ control systems related problems
