Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Group Manager – Technology & Innovation, the primary purpose of this role is to assist in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of control systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
This role will play a vital part in the integration of hardware and software components, as well as the ongoing monitoring and management of deployed control solutions.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS?

  • Assist in the design of energy control systems and the creation and review of single-line diagrams.
  • Review control system hardware options, evaluating their suitability and performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to implement control system functionality, providing technical input and assistance.
  • Perform bench testing of power meters and other control equipment to ensure functionality and compatibility.
  • Monitor deployed control solutions, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate commissioning tests with field technicians, ensuring successful integration and functionality of control systems.
  • Document commissioning procedures and installation test instructions for future reference and quality assurance purposes.
  • Manage asset inventory of control hardware and configurations, ensuring accurate records and efficient utilisation of resources.
