Description:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Journeyman Instrument Mechanic/Electrician with extensive Automation experience.
- 5-10 years of experience with Delta V and/or Allen Bradley Controls Systems. Previous experience with VTScada, Rockwell Automation, Emerson Automation, Industrial Networks, and SCADA would be a strong asset.
- Post Secondary Diploma in either Instrument Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automated System Engineering Technology or a Degree in Electrical Engineering (EIT OR P.Eng) is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal skills, building positive and strong relationships with staff and clients.
- Ability to mentor junior colleagues.
- Familiarity with IT SCADA architectural standards.
- Highly proficient in Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows Server 8.
- Demonstrated organizational and documentation skills.
- Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- An analytical thinker with a logical thought process.
