OBJECTIVE

Do you consider yourself an ambitious accounting professional with a strong background in full-cycle accounting that has completed your CPA designation?
Well, We are looking for an accounting professional with 3+ years’ of experience for a Controller position for our client. You will play a critical role in leading the Accounting functions and management in the company to reach the organizational goals. You will be growing and working in an entrepreneurial environment, while being exposed to C-level management such as reporting to the President directly.
This will provide a dynamic environment within a fast-growing company. Ideally, we are looking for someone mature, flexible, adaptable and with well-rounded experience working in SME’s for strong full-cycle accounting abilities to help our client succeed. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a relevant field.
  • Accounting Designation completed and in good standing: CPA, CGA, CMA, CA or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years experience working in an accounting position, with strong full-cycle experience.
  • Accounting software proficiency, such as QuickBooks and SAP are preferred, or other relevant software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Analysis: Dive into detailed financial analyses to support key decisions and initiatives.
  • Project Accounting Leadership: Lead a dynamic team through full-cycle project accounting, including reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and project cost assessment.
  • Precise Invoice Processing: Skillfully handle vendor invoices, ensuring strict adherence to company policies.
  • Financial Statement Expertise: Craft and review essential financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Budget Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, monitor, and adjust annual budgets.
  • Month-End and Year-End Processes: Assist in financial closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparations.
  • Accounts Management: Tackle accounts receivable and payable, from invoice generation to customer account reconciliations.
  • Payroll Oversight: Manage payroll processing, ensuring precision in pay, overtime, bonuses, and payroll data reconciliation.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial policy compliance.
