Description:

The Controller will be the cornerstone of the accounting department, responsible for overseeing all financial operations in a commercial construction company. The Controller will provide strategic input, maintain a system of control of accounts, and deliver financial reports/statements, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The Controller will also oversee all accounting operations while also coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, while reporting variances.

  • Proficiency in Monthly Close
  • Knowledge of budgeting
  • Experience with Monthly Financial Statements
  • Foundational knowledge in Commercial Construction Projects
  • Variance analysis experience desired
  • Highly skilled in office and accounting computer systems
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
