Description:

Robert Half’s client is seeking a Controller Consultant for a long-term engagement. This hybrid role is pivotal in managing all facets of the month-end close process, overseeing the general ledger, and preparing financial reports. This position is located in Rochester Hills, Michigan and will report directly to the CEO.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SET:

  • Possess substantial knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes and its practical applications in a corporate setting
  • Holds a certified public accountant (CPA) qualification
  • Proficient in Profitability Analysis and its implications in decision-making
  • Ability to Analyze Variance and interpret its impact on business performance
  • Experience in Month End Close procedures and related accounting activities
  • Skilled in Financial Reporting, able to prepare and present reports effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
