Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Financial Controller to lead our client’s financial management team. This role will oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and risk management. The Financial Controller will also manage the monthly close process and supervise a team of finance staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree, CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- An analytical mind with excellent strategic planning skills.
- Strong team leadership and managerial ability.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company’s financial systems and processes, including budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Lead the monthly and annual financial closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported on time.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor a team of finance staff, fostering a workplace environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and team effort.
- Implement internal controls and financial procedures that improve the overall efficiency and efficacy of the organization.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand the company’s goals and strategy related to finance and provide input on key decisions.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, minimizing the impact of variances.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the preparation and execution of audit activities and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Participate in the development of strategic financial planning, as well as the annual budget process.
- Maintain a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal control, and fiscal management functions.
