Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled On-Site Controller to support our client’s operations on a contract basis for approximately 4 months. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial processes within the aviation domain. This position demands a thorough understanding of ERP systems, strong proficiency in Excel, and preferably a CPA qualification.

• Manage and supervise financial activities related to fixed assets, parts inventory, maintenance, and associated costs.
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support business objectives and operational requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct detailed analysis of maintenance costs, parts inventory expenses, and other operational expenditures to identify areas for cost optimization.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations, maintaining integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within financial operations, implementing best practices where applicable.
• Utilize ERP systems effectively to streamline financial processes, facilitate data analysis, and generate insights for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights, addressing queries, and supporting strategic initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and vulnerabilities, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and ensure financial stability.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, particularly within the aviation industry or related sectors.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, with demonstrated experience in ERP implementation or management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in financial management.
