Description:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum required: B.S.E.E. AND 8 years of system integration and commercialization design experience as an electrical or controls engineer.
- M.S.E.E. AND 5 years of system integration and commercialization design experience as an electrical/controls engineer acceptable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Complete P&ID designs and documentation.
- Assist ethernet network and device configuration.
- Read, understand, and build electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
- Build and modify CAD drawings.
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changing environments and priorities.
- Experience in BOM management and compliance with UL, ETL, CE/ROHS/REACH/WEEE standards
- Understand NEC standards in NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
- Programming experience in applications such as Allen Bradley RSLogix, Wonderware InTouch, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View HMI, AssetCentre, or Servo drive programming.
- Comfortable working on small to large projects spanning days to over a year.
- Willing to travel to other Single Use Technology and vendor sites.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical/SolidWorks Electrical, robot programming (Yaskawa Servos, LabVIEW, MATLAB, MiniTab or JMP).
- Familiar with SolidWorks, ePDM, Master Control.
- Experience in qualification, protocol generation, and execution.
- Knowledge of cGMP and cGDP regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment. Cleanroom gowning requirements: gloves, cleanroom shoes/coverings, hair & beard net, face cover, safety glasses without piercings, jewelry, makeup, fake/painted nails, etc. Cleanroom humidity controlled above 30% with temperature between 60º and 70º. Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and Safety Data Sheets for disinfectants, solvents, and Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%.
