CONTROLS ENGINEER- BUTTE, MONTANA

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Automation Engineer who is ready for an exciting and diverse career opportunity. This position offers a chance to work with a technologically advanced organization that provides extensive design possibilities in the development of new products. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating hardware definitions for new products by creating point-to-point wiring schematics, specifying electrical components, and overseeing the fabrication of electrical equipment.
Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a BSEE or MSEE (ABET Accredited) or an equivalent engineering degree
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer
  • Experience in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming following IEC 61131-3 standards
  • Familiarity with Microsoft C# .NET Application Development
  • Knowledge of control system installation, commissioning, and startup
  • Experience working with rotary and linear servo motors in motion control systems
  • Adept at working with three-phase power systems
  • Application experience in controls and instrumentation
  • Experience in designing and simulating control systems
