This Queensland based law firm founded in 1999 who specialise in providing tailored property, business, dispute resolution and estate planning legal solutions to SMEs, property investors, health professionals and private clients are seeking an addition to the existing team.
The newly created role is ideal for a transactional lawyer who can handle volume property matters for developers and investors.
Typical duties will include::
- Maintaining files from commencement to settlement;
- Invoicing;
- Contract reviews;
- Preparing Sale Documents including Contract of Sale and Vendor Statements;
- Attending to State Revenue Office forms, Statements of Adjustments and PEXA settlements.
The successful applicant will have :
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Conveyancer or property lawyer
- Be admitted as a lawyer
- Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Competent in end-to-end conveyancing process including file management, drafting documents, correspondence, and searches.
- A commitment to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Experience in subdivision and development, and other facets of conveyancing including retail, residential and commercial, owners’ corporation would be an advantage.
