Our Auckland Airport operation partners with some of New Zealands’s most acclaimed hospitality brands and venues across the domestic and international terminals.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to become part of our dynamic culinary team. You will work alongside our seasoned senior chefs. This position allows you to express your deep passion for food, by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid background in kitchen operations
• Willingness to learn under guidance from our chefs
• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
• Execute food preparation tasks, showcasing expertise in food presentation
• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards. This involves conducting temperature and quality checks and effectively managing cross-contamination
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and honed time management skills
• Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days and nights
• Reliable own transport?as some shifts are not supported by public transport to and/or from the airport

?Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook is essential
• Minimum Level 3 Commercial Cookery, or currently undertaking
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
