Description:

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Cook to join our team at East Riding Community Hospital, Beverley. You will ensure that the Food Service operation produces and serves high quality food to all food consumers in accordance and full compliance with contractual requirement as agreed between Clients and the Trust
You will ensure that a high standard of food production is achieved and maintained throughout the operation, with close attention being paid to the quality of products purchased, menu variety and correct cooking practices and presentation.
We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team, and generate the provision of a high quality, cost effective food service in accordance with statutory legislation and Trust Policies regarding Health & Safety and food Hygiene.

SHIFTS ARE:

Week 1- Wednesday 10am-6pm/ Friday 7am-3pm/ Sunday 11am- 6pm
Week 2- Wednesday 10am-6pm/ Saturday 7am-3pm/ Sunday 7am-3pm
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a degree of skills in food preparation and presentation including textured diets.
The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
