Description:

  • Prepare quality South Indian food for customers
  • weigh, measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes
  • Steam, boil or fry meats, fish, vegetables and other ingredients
  • Arrange and garnish dishes
  • Work well under pressure and within time limits
  • Ensure kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned
  • Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparations positions
  • Experience with hot and cold food preparations
  • Good working knowledge of accepted sanitisation standards and health codes
  • Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors etc
  • Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment
