Responsibilities:
This full time role provides integrated and functional leadership in key environmental programs, including but not limited to, environmental health, sustainability, and waste management.
This role enables and facilitates the delivery of environmental outcomes for and across CGSC and will continue to build CGSC’s brand as an environmental ally through supporting and engaging with the team’s work and holding perspectives, and relationships, across, down, and upward internally, and outward.
In addition to the above, this role is responsible for planning, organising, leading, evaluating and reporting on governance and compliance matters such as:
- Environment Protection Authority / Act obligations
- Public Health Act obligations
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions
- Circular economy Act obligations
Inspiring a multi-disciplinary team of expert professionals working collaboratively, creating a community we are proud of, is the key outcome of this role. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and a minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry with a breadth of functional experience across the healthy environment spectrum.
