Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator (12-month contract), we have a hybrid model in our Scarborough office. This entry level role offers continuous opportunities for development and progression within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination support to our Corporate Services HR team
  • Support business as usual HR processes like performance and development check-ins by preparing reports, presentations, or other materials
  • Manage our Employee Service Recognition program, including preparing reports, create recognition letters and update leadership on upcoming service anniversaries
  • Create and update organizational charts
  • Schedule and conduct exit interviews
  • Ensuring employee data is kept up to date and maintaining various contact or group databases
  • Work closely with colleagues across Atlantic to accomplish your work
  • Other duties as required – our team helps other team members when needed, i.e., vacations or other time away

Requirements:

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS Visio, and MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and with little direction
  • Must be a team player committed to maintaining desired service levels
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Human Resources Management diploma or equivalent is an asset
