ABOUT US
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and SNC-Lavalin located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
The Onboarding and Training Support Team is looking for the ideal candidate to join the team as an LMS Coordinator. The LMS Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all training qualifications and personnel records in the Learning Management System supporting JV projects at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees learning management system and upholds standards for data input, qualification structure and development, item set-up, resource set-up, data retrieval
- Audit and monitor data integrity of users and curricula within the LMS, policies, and procedures
- Ensure alignment between project and client LMS by conducting daily data transfer and audits
- Work directly with related HR, Payroll and HCM teams to ensure accurate creation of Aecon and non-Aecon LMS User Profiles
- Assists content owners to upload and test course content that will be added to the LMS
- Create learning objects in the LMS for various training events
- Work with Corporate Learning Team to develop, define, and adopt rules for new LMS feature implementations and roll outs
- Maintain a process of continuous review, feedback and action to spot areas of opportunity, including the automation of repetitive tasks if possible
- Track and record training completion in the LMS
- Supports and works closely with Training Supervisors and Manager, Onboarding Training to be familiar with the training program
- Interfaces directly with corporate and system administrators
- All other duties as assigned
