POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized and highly creative individual to join our Marketing and Communications team as a Coordinator, Marketing and Creative Content with a focus on social media content. The Coordinator, Marketing and Creative Content reports directly to the Manager, Marketing and works closely with our marketing team to develop and implement engaging content across various digital channels to drive brand awareness, increase online presence, engage our target audience, and generate leads.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

Content Marketing:

  • Create daily, engaging original content for various digital channels, including mainly social media posts
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with design, brand and accessibility guidelines and with target audiences
  • Collaborate on the development of a social media strategy
  • Schedule and maintain content calendar in Asana
  • Assist in implementing and managing online advertising, promotional campaigns including Google Ads buys and paid social media campaigns
  • Track key performance indicators to ensure campaign success
  • Support for activations/events - planning, communications, and promotion
  • Track and measure key performance indicators. Analyze and report on performance and identify new opportunities to support growth
  • Monitor social media channels, discussions and provide alerts and briefs as needed
  • Support social media by scheduling and posting on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn through Hootsuite
  • Monitor media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the community on the platforms
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the website, including landing pages, blog articles, and media assets
  • Execute best practices to improve search engine visibility and optimize user experience
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of digital content, social engagement, website traffic, and advertising campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in SEO strategies, algorithms, and AI
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating compelling copy, designing engaging layouts, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize conversion rates

Creative Design & Production:

  • Support NPower Canada’s teams by designing marketing collateral (flyers, partner marketing, events, etc.)
  • Create and design original assets for social media and digital advertising
  • Maintain digital library of marketing collateral/assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital, including maintaining a consistent voice, visual identity, and messaging in alignment with brand guidelines
  • Update and maintain presentations for NPower Canada
  • Champion and comply with NPower Canada brand and style guidelines and provide graphic design and oversight of visual identity, ensuring consistency and quality in products and communication materials
  • Be willing to learn the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) to ensure consistency in products and communication materials
