Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Supervisor provides effective leadership by leading a progressive team of well-trained uniformed security officers who place an emphasis on customer service, professionalism, and dependability. The Field Supervisor is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the client facilities he or she is assigned to. In general, the Field Supervisor will assist the area office and site supervisors and ensure contract compliance by inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to the area on a regular basis. As the primary after-hours point of contact for all matters pertaining to each area facility, the Field Supervisor must closely coordinate with all operational, management, and administrative sections of the area office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Effective oral and written communication
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Possess a valid guard card and current driver’s license from the state where employed and maintain a clean driving record as well as participate in the DMV Pull Program.
- Possess a positive attitude, strong customer service, and leadership skills, and be career oriented.
- Previous guard experience is a must. Previous Site/Field Supervisory experience preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail; strong observation and written documentation skills with basic computer and typing knowledge.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to develop a team.
- May be required to work evenings, holidays, and or weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular site visits to ensure that Policies and Procedures, Post Orders, uniforms, Site Safety, and Standards are being met at each site inspected. Document findings and take corrective actions and notify Account or Branch Managers of results.
- May be required to cover open posts as relief in the event a post is not filled.
- Perform operations-related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, issue uniforms, coordinate fleet vehicles, assist in the preparation of security surveys and post orders)
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to his/her area
- Monitor all Security Officers and evaluate job performance including taking disciplinary action if necessary.
- Promote and maintains positive field officer morale.
- Evaluate security officers for promptness, proper uniform standards, and attitude, and evaluates the officer’s understanding of site-specific requirements.
- Maintain and update all reports in the computer database including Daily Activities Reports and Vehicle Maintenance Reports.
- Communicate all call-offs according to set procedures.
- Resolve any on-site conflicts and communicate results to Manager(s)
- Inspect Security Personnel for required licenses, permits, and certificates as required by the site and State regulations.
