Description:
ABOUT CHARITABLE IMPACT
Charitable Impact is here to help each and every generous Canadian create the meaningful change they seek in the world. Through the unique combination of our online giving tools, consultation services, and Donor Advised Fund - we equip donors (at any budget level) to manage all of their giving from one convenient place, engage their communities to amplify their impact, and donate in a variety of ways from cash to publicly traded stocks.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Copywriter, you will work closely with the Brand team and other stakeholders in developing clear, engaging and effective copy across various communication touchpoints to introduce and educate different audiences on our organization, products, giving programs, and services. The Donor-Advised Fund and its benefits are still new to most giving Canadians and this is an opportunity to introduce an offering that will help them manage their giving and make a greater impact for the causes and communities they care about. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that is developing and experimenting with new content and ideas to drive discoverability, user engagement and activity. Your role will involve strategic content development and cross-department collaboration and will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Content Strategy.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write clear, engaging and effective copy for web pages, landing pages, emails, blogs, social media, videos, digital ads, pitch decks, and more
- Create product content that highlights features and benefits for product, services and giving programs to different audiences throughout the customer journey and drive user activity
- Articulate complex concepts into everyday language to help audiences understand use case scenarios for different features and help them develop their charitable giving
- Collaborate with Brand Design and Video teams to develop content
- Build relationships and interview third party experts on charitable giving and causal areas
- Partner with the Growth Marketing team to research trending topics to increase discoverability
- Develop copy for digital ads, landing pages and campaigns that convert new user sign-ups
- Collaborate with key internal clients to develop content including Brand Design, Corporate Communications, Growth Marketing, Product Design, Donor Experience, Cause Funds, and Charitable Investment departments
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to build understanding of our product, markets and internal and external audiences which include average-income Canadians, financial advisors and charitable changemakers
