Our Cyber Operational Research Environment (CORE) Development Programme: IT /OT Craftsperson is designed to equip you with all the training and experience you need at the start of your IT /OT Cyber Security career. If successful after 12 months, you will transition into a permanent level 4 CORE Craftsperson role with National Gas.
This role will give you the opportunity to support the CORE facility and programme of activities to ensure the successful delivery and associated risk reduction of Operational Technology. You’ll work to support R&D projects to ensure they are delivered to site and function as expected.
You’ll be immersed within our CORE Engineering team, assisting with developing OT Systems, providing data analysis and insights, developing and implementing processes and procedures, and supporting with testing and report writing on Proof-of-Concept Cyber Security projects.
You will be required to interface with Engineers and Project Managers to enable their asset integration into the CORE non-production environment for testing, thus learning from the best in the Cyber Security field and the Gas business.

TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED A RELEVANT TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION, SUCH AS;

• NVQ Level 4 or HNC in an IT related discipline (e.g. Computer Science / Software Engineering/ Cyber Security)
• CompTIA A+ & Network+
• BTEC in an IT related discipline (e.g. Computer Science / Software Engineering/ Cyber Security)
• An IT / Computer Science apprenticeship or equivalent with Cyber Security awareness
• Previous experience and the ability to demonstrate knowledge will also be considered
